Lay Witness has been published by CUF from its earliest days — a bi-monthly newsletter that supplements the formation of members and associates and coordinates their work. Each issue carries a lead article on a current question in the Church, examined in light of official teaching and discipline, alongside news from the international office and chapters.
Between 1997 and 2014 it appeared as a full-color magazine, each issue carrying more than a dozen articles from acclaimed Bible scholars, apologists, and bishops. Publication paused from 2014 to 2017; with CUF's affiliation to The Saint Joseph Foundation, Lay Witness resumed as a newsletter, just as in its first decades.
