At the Table
A Greek dinner hosted in the house, prepared or arranged. Provisioning runs to Cross Street Market or Lexington Market. If your stay overlaps with our monthly family Greek dinner, you are welcome to come.
Hospitality and stays, kept to a hotel standard.
Ithaca House is the hospitality division of the house. The name carries two anchors: the Greek island that sits beside our family's Kefalonia in the Ionian chain, and the upstate New York town near where our family settled when they came west.
We operate short-term rentals to a hotel standard. Careful turnover, considered welcome, properties chosen for character rather than yield. Baltimore today; selective expansion along the Mid-Atlantic to follow. A Morocco property is in early planning, the family's first international addition.
Beyond the stays themselves, Ithaca House offers Airbnb Experiences for guests — Greek dinners, kayaking on the harbor, basilica visits — and consulting for other hosts working to bring their own properties to the same standard.
Across both hosts, six properties, and a decade of work in Canton and Patterson Park.
Run by the family. Each property listed directly on Airbnb — book through the platform you already trust.
Six properties, run by the family, in one Baltimore neighborhood. Caroline hosts three; Andrew hosts three. Across all six, the family handles bookings, turnover, and welcome.
A note on the name. In Kioni, a small village on the north coast of Ithaka, two Likoudis-named guesthouses welcome travelers: Likoudis Villas, run by Paul and Penelope Likoudis on a hillside above the harbor since 1998, and Likoudis Apartments, a smaller stone-and-wood building nearby. Across the channel in Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, Melissa Likoudis is a patisserie selling traditional sweets of the island (mantola, mantolato, pasteli) alongside local wines and honey. We recommend them if you are in Greece. In Baltimore, we have built our own.
We arrange experiences alongside the stay or on their own. Open to staying guests and visitors alike. Each begins with a request, scoped to your dates and group, with a quote returned within a few days.

Kayaking the harbor, sailing arrangements with local captains, slow walks through the neighborhoods nearest the house.
A guided morning at the Baltimore Basilica with breakfast to follow. Mass and music when the calendar permits. Museum routing through the Walters, the BMA, and the Peabody Library.
Anniversaries, honeymoons, writing weeks, family reunions. Stays prepared in advance with a reading list, a driving route, a stocked pantry, a few introductions, and a quiet plan you can ignore.
“Andrew has been helping us set up our home for Airbnb short-term rental. We can’t say enough good things about how organized and thorough he has been, and patient. From walking through the steps we need to take, providing links to the appropriate places and advising about what we need to do to get the place together. We couldn’t endorse Andrew any more highly. He is honest and nice and you should work with him if you need assistance.”
Beyond the six properties Ithaca House operates, Andrew advises individual hosts on setup, listing, and turnover practice. By referral.
